Independent League game report 2009

I went to watch a game of an independent league team, Long Beach Armada last Friday.
I have researched their games on their websites but seeing is believing.
It is much bigger scale than I thought. |

1. Outside of the stadium is like an event. Busy and noisy. There were a band,boothes.

| There were even model girls. |
|

2.Inside the stadium is no different than Dodger stadium.
It's just a much smaller stand and crowd.
What they do is the same as at Dodger stadium :
They have;
- A host
- Natioal Anthem
- Ceremonial first pitch
- Mascots
- Bat boys
- 7 innings stretch
- There is a guy who sells hot dogs on the stand
- Some batters have their theme musics.
- Batters pictures are displayed on the scored board like any MLB stadium.
- When they score, there is a music along with a display on the score board
- When they hit home run, there is a music along with a display on the score board
- The host and audiences play games between innings. |
